Java Software Development Aids

JAR file containing class and source files of the Bookmark Doclet. Unlike most doclets, this one does not generate API documentation: instead, it generates HTML files that can be imported into Netscape or Mozilla bookmarks. The bookmarks refer to online JavaDocs generated by the standard Doclet. Their multiple levels mirror the package structure of the underlying code. Here is how the doclet can be run on a UNIX platform. It will produce a file called bookmarks.html.

javadoc -J-Xmx256m -docletpath BookmarkDoclet.jar \
    -sourcepath /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.1/src -source 1.4 \
    -doclet com.brightringsoftware.bookmarks.BookmarkDoclet \
-subpackages java:javax:org -title "JDK 1.4.1 API Javadocs" \
